Facilities and resources

Our school offers a range of spaces and resources to support student learning. Whether it’s for learning, sport, creativity or technology, our learning environments and resources give students what they need to succeed.

Our school facilities

We offer a range of learning environments. They help students stay engaged, build confidence and enjoy every part of their school day. Our facilities include:

• bright and comfortable classrooms

• a well-stocked library for reading and research

• sports fields and a large playground for fitness and fun

• a multi-purpose hall for assemblies, performances and spaces for creative learning
• a playground and yarning circle where we celebrate the traditions of Aboriginal Elders, who have shared their knowledge and culture with children for thousands of years

• class sets of laptops for digital learning.

A project to upgrade Newington Public School was been announced by the NSW Government in 2025. This will accommodate future growth in the Sydney Olympic Park area and provide access to new permanent teaching building, shared indoor common areas and student amenities. Resources and technology

Our school uses modern technology and digital learning tools. Our resources help students learn, create and stay connected. As a NSW public school, we have access to shared programs and tools available to all schools in the state.
